The Star Quality Test Automation Course

Star Quality has developed a three-day hands-on course that provides the student with a repeatable approach to architecting test automation. It begins with a detailed explanation about why test automation projects fail and proceeds to take the student through a complete project using the Star Quality Automation Methodology. Students learn how to decide what to automate and how best to build automated tests that will sustain changes to the user interface of the application being tested.

This course will benefit a wide range of users. Beginners will learn a simple approach to get tests running quickly. Experienced users will learn to use tools that will allow everyone on the team to contribute to the test automation development effort.

What makes the Star Quality Automation Methodology Different

Star Quality has developed a methodology, which not only provides a roadmap for the user on how to automate their testing, but also provides the architecture in which to build the tests. This strategy has been designed to address the biggest barrier to success in the test automation marketplace: quite simply it provides QA engineers with the “How-To” to build automated tests that are easy to write and maintain. By providing a cookie-cutter approach, Star Quality ensures that customers will know what do to when they leave class and begin to develop automated tests for their own applications. Our approach enables everyone on the team to contribute to the automation effort. With our architecture, there are less tasks that require programming experience and more tasks that can be performed by the people who know the product to be tested.
